This influence varies from one industry to another, but also from one period of time to another.

In what follows, I summarize the economic potential for the world's major cities for "single- and three-phase, dry pad-mounted distribution transformers with maximum 500 kVA excluding general-purpose types and parts" for the year 2011. The goal of this report is to report my findings on the real economic potential, or what an economist calls the latent demand, represented by a city when defined as an area of dominant influence. Answer: Impossible to find one in any junkyard, and 5~15Kva Pole pigs cost way over 00AU in Australia and none give 20KV. Most things are expensive in Australia, where I was quoted over 00AU to have one made for me. I'd rather spend the time and learn and have the pleasure and experience of making one myself, where I can repair, replace and alter my transformer for any voltage I want rather than be bound to what is available on the market and then get ripped off for it!
